One of the women featured in Beaumont's 'Disappearing Women' series suffered because of the same individual who caused my trauma, and therefore this is an incredibly moving yet distressing project for me to witness. As part of my deeper research, I'm going to contact Beaumont and seek to arrange an interview through which I can gain deeper insight into her motivations as a female painter supporting the celebration of these women and their unjust fate.

Artist research - Henny Beaumont
Henny Beaumont is a London based painter whose recent work features a project entitled 'Disappearing Women', a series of portraits created in dedication to 118 women - mothers, wives, and sisters; who have fallen victim to femicide, murdered by men (accused or convicted), and been failed by the corruption that entrenched the judicial system in the UK between March 2020 and March 2021.
